Had a massive amount of retro games, consoles, and devices, ranging from the Dreamcast Playable Memory Card to Xbox 360, and both in Japanese and English! Not to mention the shop sold anime figures and trading cards. Everyone in the shop was super friendly and happy to help!

You could easily spend hours here looking at all of the games. I think the key is to go in knowing what you’re looking for - there are bins of games and lots of layers of games in cabinets so it can be a bit overwhelming to look at if you’re not sure what you’re looking for. They had a lot of games from Japan - just keep in mind you can’t always play Japanese games on non Japanese consoles unless you make some “tweaks” to your console. I’m assuming that staff would probably warn you on that if you got a Japanese game and share any info.

My favorite stop in York. Could lose hours in here just browsing. Always an incredible, well stocked selection. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. They've helped boost my own Sega collection loads over the years! And it is still the only place I have seen a MegaJet in real life!

My son and I were on a touristy trip around York. This place still had to be done though, we love this shop!! Pokémon was the product of choice today.

Visted York today for the first time and took a trip into this shop, got an amazing deal on a Guitar Hero controller & a few games. Highly recommended paying a visit if your in the area amazing shop & excellent staff.

Great place for retro gaming stuff, usual premium to pay on older retro stuff but as is the nature with older retro goods. a nice selection of both rare and common games, so many generations of consoles that most won't even recognise them, displayed in an easy to view way
